No longer in business: Traveling Stories

Traveling Stories was a wonderful local initiative that relied on donations to fund three libraries in Nicaragua, the Philippines and Cambodia. They were able to help over 3,000 kids in adverse conditions get access to books.

Traveling Stories closed their doors in 2023, but will always be remembered as a great cause in the San Diego area.

Well, there we have a long list of library friends groups and a couple other organizations who will take your gently used books in San Diego.

If you make frequent trips to LA, you may be interested in taking a look at our guide on Los Angeles book donations, which features no fewer than eleven deserving organizations that accept book donations there.
