One of the great nonprofits working to repurpose books in the state that we have to shout out is Books for You Miami. If you’re looking to donate books in Miami, these guys offer a free of charge pick up service to collect your books!

If you want to support Florida prison book donations, you have a few options too. The UCF program is located in Orlando. I’ve spoken with some of the staff there and they are really appreciative of any donations, which you can also mail in.

Gainesville Books to Prisoners is another prison book program that accepts drop off donations in the heart of gator land. They get a lot of requests from inmates who want to better themselves through reading and are another great cause to support.
