Boulder Public Library

How to Donate

Boulder Public Library has a convenient “Donations” area, located just inside the Arapahoe entrance on the right. There is a book bin where you can drop your books off, and if you have a few boxes you’re welcome to take them directly into the room.

If you have more than 10 boxes please email the library first before dropping them off at ask@boulderlibrary.org

Why We Love Boulder Public Library

The library uses profits from their used bookstore, Paper & Spine, to fund volunteer programs and vital library materials: one of the joys of keeping literature local!

Sales from donated books can go to bringing wonderful initiatives like this ‘Winter Wonderland’ book tour to Boulder!

How to Donate

The store has a “used book desk” in the children’s room, and a specific book buyer will be available until 6pm at this location. Donations after 6pm should be brought directly to the registers.

You’ll receive cash, check, or store credit for your donations that they accept. 


TRUCare Boulder Thrift Store

Type of Books Accepted: Most books in good condition
Type of Books Not Accepted: Library copies of books, encyclopedias

How to Donate

This organization may be able to pick up your books from you. You can enquire to arrange a time by emailing thriftshop@trucare.org or calling (303) 604-5353.

They would also be more than glad to take your used books at their store during the above hours.

The Bookworm
