Why We Love the Children’s Literacy Center

Quite simply, they care about kids’ literacy in Colorado Springs! They work with schools, families and the community at large to tutor children one-on-one and help close the literacy gap.

Founded in 1991 in Colorado Springs, the program now serves over 600 children annually. This kind of special attention to reading is vital, and maybe something the children don’t receive at school or at home. You can be sure your books will definitely help this awesome cause!
