Baton Rouge Book Drop

Donation Types: Drop off, Pick up from you
Email them for a drop off location or to schedule a pick up
Type of Books Accepted: Children’s books up to eighth grade, baby books
Website: Baton Rouge Book Drop

How to Donate

This great nonprofit gives you two options: you can either drop your books off at their storage location, or they will come and pick up your books directly from you.

The best thing to do is drop them an email letting them know roughly how many books you have, and they’ll get back to you to arrange a drop off or pick up.

They don’t accept children’s books over 20 years old, but any gently used baby books or kids’ books up to an eighth grade level are welcomed by them. The Book Drop, spearheaded by local Anne Thomas (below) will distribute all the books they receive to children’s hospitals, clincis, schools, and other non-profits around the East Baton Rouge Parish.
